I've managed to get pictures of egrets... lots of them. I also got an osprey once. Even my rattlesnake friend allowed me to take photos, many of which I'm now realizing never got posted here (note to self: post the rattlesnake photos later!).
I have bad owl photos from before I got my new lovely camera but I don't have photos of the furry raccoon I tried to save because I didn't think it would be very nice to take pictures when he was hurting.
But little birds are hard to get shots of... without a ginormous lens... which I don't have. Here was my attempt though. Wish I coulda gotten closer to her.

So cute...do you know what kind of bird it is? We saw a gecko yesterday, perched on an empty plastic bottle.
Not really very good at identifying birds... but I belong to a Canon forum where there is a birding thread. If I post the photo there, they will be able to tell me right away what it is.
