Look at these lil paws...
Ha ha! She's almost as bendy as me!
She was the sweetest thing... all rubby and would sit on my lap for ages while I sat in the rocking chair on the porch. She had three or four siblings/buddies but they were skittish and all ran away when they saw me. They didn't know what they were missing with all the pettin!
So, I took lots of photos of various animals on the trip. This is blog post number one. More to come!! : )

GREAT kitty photos!!
My wife is allergic to cats!!! We prefer dogs.
Visit my Pet Care Site!
Thanks Erica... you are such a fabulous pet photographer... so that means a lot to me coming from you! : )
JR- Sorry to hear about that... I'm glad my husband isn't allergic to animals. We love our cat... but we love our two doggies too! Neither of our current dogs shed at all which is a nice change.
HEY! You could get a sphinx... they don't have much fur! : )
Those are fabulous photos of the kitty! What a wonderfully friendly cat. You must have wanted to bring her/him home!
Thanks Catherine! I'm glad you stopped by... I tell you, I'd love to get my camera on Lester and Smudge!! : )
I totally wanted to bring her (I think) home... but she did have that collar on... and I don't know that my two dogs and cat would have appreciated another animal in the house... but... she was so friendly!!!
I'm the sort that has to be careful or I'll end up with a zoo. On the way to NC, we stopped at a PetSmart to grab some things for the dogs... and they were having a dog adoption day... and there was a gorgeous and sweet shepherd mix. Chris had to drag me away...
Ha ha! She's almost as bendy as me!
Remember--just because you can lick your butt doesn't mean you should.
:-)
She is a cutie. Leave it to Tracy to post kitty pictures before anything else!
