Finished Knitting!

I finished a couple things this weekend... so I have to share of course!
First I started AND finished a catnip mousie. It was from a pattern that my swap partner sent me (see previous post)... I decided it was time to quickly make one after I caught Clementine playing with my knitted bracelet!
It was super quick and easy... and it's cute!

Plus, as you can see, the cats liked it!

Do you see who is poking her head out of the tube behind Uni?
Clementine wanted the mouse! I think I'm going to have to make a second one so they can each have their own... and not wrestle over this one!

And the other finished object is a seed stitch scarf! I made it for Chris and he loves it! Yay! He'll be able to wear it when we go to KC for Christmas...

Now I have to figure out what I want to make next! I'm thinking I need to go back and finish my sweater...

Great mouse! It might be more fun to have them fight over the one... :) I know my dogs wrestling is always entertaining.

Hi DM4! Thanks for visiting my blog! Yay for the fresh mowed grass candle! It sounded like it would be a nice smell... I hope it is!
The yarn is Caron Simply Soft Paints in Sticks and Stones. One of the girls in my knitting circle commented that it doesn't look like big box store yarn. I was just attracted to the colors... I guess I haven't become a yarn snob yet... although I do have some Noro and I just ordered some Colinette Prism. I'm coming up in the world a bit! ; )

Thanks Nalamienea! That was my first time using seed stitch... it really isn't all that exciting to work on after a few inches, is it? hee hee...

You might be right Sally... they were a riot! But they wrestle whether there is a mousie involved or not. Clemmy is always starting something with her big sister Uni!

I too love the colors of the scarf! I'm still in awe of how fast you get all this stuff done! You're more than welcome to come and finish my knitting projects that I'm avoiding if you're looking for something to do :)

That's a gorgeous scarf...I wish it were scarf weather. Sigh.

I'd love to make Suvi nice small toys, but we have some devil in the house who likes nothing more than to steal the cat's toys and then chew them into small, drooly lumps.
