Adieu for now for real...

I'm off to Sweden and Denmark in about 12 hours...
So this is my adieu.
I hope you all have a wonderful next two weeks and I look forward to catching up on all the reading when I return.
I'll also have lots of photos for anyone who is interested. I have two memory cards which will allow me to take close to 1000 photos!!! : )
Lurve you!
Tracy

Looks like Tom really wanted to wish her a fond farewell, since he did it three times. Kinda reminds me of me at the airport this morning...

Anyway, she's at the airport. Mission accomplised. Next stop: Sweden (well, after Chicago, but, y'know.)

I hate saying goodbyes at the airport because I cry and I turn red when I cry - and then everyone's like, "Have you been crying?" which makes me cry more. Then they usually hug me, and when I have just stopped crying and someone hugs me, I start again. It's a vicious cycle.

I agree, Lindz. That's why I generally pull up to the curb and shove people out. If they're lucky, I come to a complete stop.

Maki said...

Um, there was no crying at the airport. What the hell are you people talking about? Of course, I did kinda pull up to the curb and kick her out, so I guess it was bound to happen that way.

So Maki, now you said you can transform into 'geek mode'? What exactly does that entail?

It's not like a case of 'Jolt' and video games non-stop for 48 hours is it? :)

Maki said...

Nah, that was actually referring to Amy calling me a dork for being all "I miss Tracy," when I was in DC. It was more of a threat from me that it was only going to get worse... Maybe.

I figure the movies tomorrow night is a good start for the kind of dork mode you're talking about, though.

Maki, 10:00, Gold Club?

(P.S. that's just WTG's secret code, we're really not moving tonight :)

OK don't know how that happened, blogger just felt like making me look like an idiot.(I know, I know, it doesn't take blogger to make me look like an idiot). How is it that it posted, and then posted again twice about a minute later? whatever I'm deleteing them.

Heh. Join the club, sister...

I love that Tracy's blog lives on even in her absence. Sort of like how we all appeared at her apartment yesterday without her actually being there.

Maki said...

Well, there was cat-feeding and car-fixing to be done. We're not stalkers, honest!

Star Droppings said...

Riiiight, Maki. If by "cat-feeding" and "car-fixing" you mean "clothes-sniffing" and "violating yourself in every room in her apartment" then I believe you.

Maki said...

You have such a low opinion of me. It's Katie you should be worried about anyway.

Anonymous said...

I promise I was not clothes-sniffing. At least, not intentionally.

Today, I did unfortunately sniff what was left in her sink. Thanks, Tracy, for curing me of my love for Mexican food.

Maki said...

You should have seen the kitchen before we cleaned it up on Thursday night...

Tracy said...

DOH!
I put the queso bowl in the sink because it needed to soak before I washed it... oops.
ö
Sorry. Oh em gee. I bet it stunk up the place!

Sweden is awesome.

Quit sniffing my clothes.

Is my car broken?

Have taken 300 photos.

Am very tired. Never sleep... too much drinking going on.
Taking photos of the different beers too though!

Mwua!
T.

Maki said...

Yay!

So jealous, though.

And yes, the clutch on your car... Remember, or has all the drinking erased it from your mind? Call me or write me so we can talk about it, dammit! :)

Tracy said...

Oh snap! Is it bad?

Maki said...

Not as bad as I figured at first, but Stephen can fix it and it needs to be fixed or it'll keep breaking. Just let me know if you want it done before you get back and it'll be ready for you. Money's not too bad, but not super-cheap either since he's gotta buy parts. :-\

Awww, look at you two getting all long-distance domestic via blog. You two are SO 21st century!

Maki said...

This is so much better than a $35 phone call that lasts 145 seconds, I've gotta admit.

Maki said...

WTG, that's exactly how much it costs. It's all the surcharges that get you.

Maki said...

Hey, I'm fine! Just a little jealous I haven't been able to go out drinking in a foreign country every single night like somebody I know has...

And yeah, I guess that absence thing is kinda true.

Tracy said...

How much is not bad? I mean, I gotta fix it. But I might be a bit on the poor side after this week. : )

I got my watch yesterday though! Batman will be sad...

Maki said...

I sent you an e-mail about it.

You'll have to save the COOL Batman watch for special occasions!
