Name change...

So I did it.
Friday morning I went to the DMV and changed my name. Then I went to Social Security and did the same. And to the bank...
I'm sure there are a zillion other places I have to change it too.
No more Tracy Lyn Aukerman.
Now I'm Tracy Aukerman Pellicer.
*sigh*

I actually signed something with Pellicer today. It was weird.
I'm sure I'll mess up a lot!!
At least I can just sign Pellicer after Aukerman if I forget since I kept it as my middle name...

And I got the paperwork to fill out for my business license!
Weeeeee!

I remember that...it was such a pain changing my name! I still have my maiden name on a couple of things - library card, social security card.

Congrats! I was happy to change my name... I traded it for a much shorter one!

I'm just getting to that point now. I kept using my maiden name until it was time to renew my passport, which just renewed. So now I'm having to figure out how to change my name for all my Canadian stuff!

I'm thinking of a name change. I might do what you did because I never use my middle name for anything, and this way I'd have an excuse to use my maiden name for things. I've been thinking about the name I'll use if/when I publish the Great American Novel.
