I think that yarn has a nice color pattern. <BR/><BR/>Knitting really hurt my hand when I first started too, and it was because I was doing everything too tightly. The finger I use to push the needle back down and through (if that makes sense) was sore for a while in part because I had to build up a little tolerance, but mostly because I had to force it a lot. You'll get looser with practice.<BR/><BR/>This is sounding awfully naughty: getting looser, your "thing." <BR/><BR/>By the way, I told myself I wasn't going to buy anymore yarn for a while after I finished my poncho because the school semester has just started, and I didn't want to start a knitting project I couldn't finish very quickly. But yesterday, I couldn't help myself! I bought some to make Rich a hat or a scarf and some really soft baby yarn to make a baby hat for some friends.
